My background

I have been developing custom database applications for 20+ years. I am a Certified SmartSuite Consultant and a SmartSuite Partner. (I am also a multiply certified FileMaker Pro developer.) I've worked with low-code cloud-based tools since 2016 and have been working with SmartSuite since the year it went public.

Industries I work in

For 10+ years most of my clients have been law firms, mostly firms doing mass tort litigation, although I have worked with criminal defense firms, and (some years back) municipal defense. In the past I also have worked on projects in USA, Canada, UK, and Europe on projects in a variety of industries (education, medical services, newspaper circulation and publishing, travel, television production and others).

My basic service options are:

1. Full development (where I basically do everything for you)
2. Coaching (where I help you work on your solution)

I can develop an application for your law firm, school or company start-to-finish: modeling the data, creating tables and fields, configuring access privileges so you control who can see what, designing an attractive user interface and a comfortable user experience using SmartSuite's tools. Of course I can also train your users on the application; show you how to add and remove users as you need to. And I support solutions that I've built.

Rates and billing

I bill by the hour, but my rate varies by project. My default rate for work for law firms is $125-$175/hour. Other projects may be less, or more. Let's talk. There's no charge for an initial consultation.
